Each summer ACT TOO! produces two to three full scale productions each presented as a result of a two week theatre intensive. In addition to rehearsing for the production, cast members attend workshops, participate in acting games/exercises, complete theatre related side projects. 

 

Each camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, for two weeks. Each camp will have three performances (four performances if it is double cast) and cast size is limited to about 25-30 cast members-so register early! Participants will need to bring the following every day of camp:

 

~a three prong folder or binder

~two pencils

~a packed lunch

~extra snacks/drinks

~a water bottle or thermos to refill

~a few personal items of interest to use during break-time, if desired

 

Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get messy from painting or stage make-up. No skirts please (unless there are shorts or stretch pants/leggings of some sort underneath). Please bring sneakers if you wear flip flops or sandals.

 

Unless otherwise posted, summer productions are for age 7-19 year old actors. In addition to rehearsing the show, participants will engage in acting games and exercises to improve theatrical skills including: improvisation, pantomime, character development, vocalization, memorization, and more! Participants will also have voice class and basic choreography for the stage. If the production is a musical, participants will attend music rehearsal each day.
